The “Wright” take on celebrity drama

Everyone needs a little bit of celeb drama in their lives! Here are the top three celebrity drama stories in recent weeks. 

1. BTS goes into military service

According to the New York Times, all of the members of BTS will enlist in the South Korean military. Which is required by law South Korean law requires all-bodied men to enlist in the military by the time they turn 30. The group says it’s not permanent, they will be back around 2025. Azariah Smith, 23, says, “it’s sad that they won’t be going on tour, but it doesn’t bother me.” 

2. Shakira not paying taxes 

According to EW, the famous Latin singer is facing up to 8 years in prison for not paying taxes in Spain. She was accused of owing 15 million in taxes, but there hasn’t been a date for this trial. Her hips don’t lie, but her tax records do!

3.  Kanye loses everything! 

According to Billboard, Ye is no longer a billionaire after Adidas dropped him for his string of anti-Semitic remarks. According to the financial magazine, Ye’s multi-year partnership with Adidas was valued at $1.5 billion, and without it, he’s reportedly worth just $400 million. And Adidas wasn’t the only brand. Mr. Swierbitowicz is a huge Kanye fan and said, “ I love Kanye, but this is terrible because this means his shoes are going to start to be a lot more expensive.”
