My intensive outpatient program: helpful in some ways, but with limitations

It’s not often that you run into someone who has experienced an Intensive Outpatient Program. I, Adriana Duarte, have been involved in the Clinical Services for Children program in BHcare of Derby, CT. As of today, I have been involved in this program for about a month and 1 week. The whole idea of this program is that children from ages five to eighteen get given intensive care by a group of therapy clinicians. I was placed in the teen group, and everyone in the group is required to show up five days a week for care, and then as you proceed in your journey they progressively drop you down to two days max. I currently go on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. This podcast will inform you in detail, what goes on in this program, and my experience through it all. Enjoy and thank you for listening.
