Bruno Mars shocks fans with his unexpected return to music and his new single “I Just Might,” released from his soon-to-come “The Romantic” album. The song was released on Jan. 6, 2026, and the full album, consisting of nine songs, will be released on Feb. 27, 2026.
Bruno Mars is a talented singer and songwriter known for his wide range of musical genres, including pop, R&B, hip-hop, funk, soul and rock. After listening to the new song, I thought it had a lively type of energy. I have heard very mixed opinions of it so far, but for me personally, I enjoyed the song. It reminds me of music from the 70’s with its distinct retro sound and rhythm. I think the song is very fun, but it definitely does not compare to Bruno Mars’ earlier music, which I prefer. On the other hand, Luca Ventimiglia ‘27 believes otherwise, stating, “This new song reminds me of his old song ’24k Magic.” Ventimiglia believes both songs have an upbeat vibe and catchy lyrics. He would definitely recommend the new song to everyone.
When asked about the 2026 Bruno Mars comeback and his new music, Ventimiglia said, “I’m excited to see what the rest of the album has to offer and look forward to his concert this summer.” While he is not sure if this new album will be better or as good as this new song, he believes that no matter what, it will be a hit. He is looking forward to listening to the rest of the new album.
We have heard new music from Bruno Mars over the past few years, but it has only been collaborative songs. After being on a solo hiatus for some time, I am excited to hear this new material. Whether you’re a fan of Bruno Mars or just want to listen to some new upbeat dance music, I definitely recommend everyone listen to his new song called “I Just Might.”
