Pancheros is a Mexican grill that specializes in burritos and is known for its fresh ingredients. This Pancheros is located at 704 Bridgeport Ave, Shelton, CT. They are open from Monday through Saturday, 10:30 am-10 pm, and open till 9 pm on Sundays.
When I got to Pancheros, it was around 8 pm. The parking area was not very full, and inside, there was a good amount of people, but it wasn’t too packed. There was a small line before ordering food, but it went by very fast. One person asks what you want, and then they start making it. I was very excited for a burrito and moved down the line of ingredients as the workers passed it from one station to the next, telling each worker which ingredients I wanted on it. I got chicken, rice, queso, guacamole, sour cream, and grilled vegetables in my burrito. I made sure to get extra queso; it’s the best on burritos. The workers were not the politest, but they were trying to move quickly, so I wasn’t mad at it.
When I sat down, the table was very clean. I finally tried my burrito. It was very warm and all the ingredients tasted fresh. I thoroughly enjoyed it and was very satisfied with my meal. I also ordered a fountain drink and filled the cup up with Diet Coke. It was good quality and did not taste watered down in the slightest. I really enjoyed my food. Pancheros is one of the best Mexican grill spots in my opinion. It’s a clean and fresh place overall. I would 100% recommend giving it a try.
