The 2026 Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival was celebrated in Indio, California, on April 10-12 and April 17-19. Justin Bieber was a headliner and surprised fans by performing on both April 11 and April 18. This marked Bieber’s return to the stage after being away from the spotlight for so long due to health issues. It was a very exciting and meaningful event for many of his fans, offering a thrill and a sense of nostalgia. Bieber fans are excited to see what will happen in the future.
While Bieber was on stage, his computer was hooked up to the big screen. He shared some of his internet memes with the audience, who then laughed in response. At a festival like Coachella, where artists try to look cool, Bieber did something different. He broke away from the idea that he had to be perfect on stage and instead created a relaxed, fun atmosphere where the audience could just enjoy the moment.
When I asked one of the truest fans of Justin Bieber and Billie Eilish, Roujda Mekael ‘27, what her favorite part of the performance was, she said, “When Billie was brought onto stage. She and Bieber had a memorable moment together.” We all know Billie has been a fan of Justin forever, so this surprise on-stage moment was a dream come true. Only a true Belieber would understand, as she finally became the ultimate One Less Lonely Girl.
Mekael, along with other Bieber fans, was very excited after seeing his return to the stage at Coachella and anticipates that he will go on tour in the near future. The positive impact of his performance at Coachella 2026 was a successful display of raw talent, and there is no doubt that Bieber is not only back but ready to take over.
