After an unforgettable night of dancing, laughter, and celebration, Derby High School’s Class of 2026 and 2027 kept the fun going at Urban Air Trampoline and Adventure Park in Orange, Connecticut, for their after‑prom event. Students arrived around 11:30 p.m. and stayed until 3:00 a.m., proving that the excitement didn’t end when the music stopped. Once they traded their formal wear for comfy clothes, they jumped straight into trampolines, obstacle courses, and zip lines.

I asked Gary Zurita ’27 what students enjoyed most at Urban Air, and he said, “Students loved going on the go‑karts—the lines were long because everyone wanted to go on!” The go‑karts were definitely a highlight of the night. Students challenged each other to dodgeball matches, tested their balance on the ropes course, and showed off flips on the trampolines.

Inside, the atmosphere was full of laughter, energy, and a good way to end the night. Urban Air also had a delicious appetizers table filled with brownies, cookies, sandwiches, chips, and drinks for everyone to enjoy.

The after‑prom tradition gives students a safe, fun space to celebrate together, and this year’s trip to Urban Air was no different. It was a night of pure joy, bonding, and memories that will stick with them long after high school.
